Inspiration is the Key with LivGlam, Pure Poison, M&M Incorporated and NanTra

Inspiration is everywhere, but how do you find Inspiration when you blog or even when you design? You might walk through the street, eat out in a restaurant or visit an art museum like I have today at the Neva Villi Art Gallery, and BANG … a big advertising … an interesting structure … a painting or a sculpture … or even a new colour combination takes your mind to an idea.

You could perhaps have an idea in the middle of the night – or just come across a quick thought.
It’s easy to forget all these little brain sparks. They disappear as fast as they come.

But there is an easy solution, I have heard there is a talking app on your smartphone called Evernote that can help you keep track of all your ideas. People get their inspiration from many sources, such as Google, Pinterest, Flickr, or even fashion magazines. You soon will have a big collection of items and be able to come back to a large list of resources which once inspired you.

 I came across this amazing video the other day which took my breathe away. It is a long vid but inspiration in this regard can even come from a bucket of sand. A definitely much watch, absolutely astounding.

Comfortably at home with LivGlam and Flash Friendly Poses

The one thing I love having in Second life, is owning my own home. Every year, or sometimes twice a year, I love to search for a new home. In saying that I still have crushes on older homes. I fall hard actually. The old cottage types, the rustic look and ways to make it feel comfy and part of me.  In RL, I adore the character that comes with a charming house built as such before I was born. The rounded wood doors, creaky wooden floorboards, the old lanterns in the hallway. Just simply devine.

In SL and RL, I've been blessed to live my dreams in many beautiful old houses and when travelling overseas, I've been totally infatuated with many more old houses I've loved from afar.

I actually obsess over older homes in neighborhoods and I stalk them. I guess I do this in SL as well. (oops).  I love to see what a person has done to decorate and create their unique style.  What makes the house looks so homely.  I guess that comes from when I was a young girl, dreaming of living in a Scottish castle and fairy-tales and all that romantic girlie stuff, so it is only fitting I romanticize life at home.

Springlovin with LIV-Glam

I have been told that in the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, the first day of the spring season started on the 20th March. What I didn't know is that spring brings with it the start of the Tornado season.

Until yesterday, I believed that Tornado's were only found in the US, until turning on the television yesterday I was alarmed to hear that tragedy had occured in the form of tornadoes that had also hit Australia. Shocked by these events, it made me realise no matter where you live, we all seem to share a common ground. Whether that be on Secondlife, or in Real Life. We all have similar weather conditions, just at different times. Spring should herald the beauty, and warmth of the sun, being outdoors with your loved ones and sharing time together, not in fear of what could occur.

I wish everyone a safe and happy spring and a loving Easter with whom ever you share it with.
